Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: April 10, 2026

This policy governs your use of Mapifyer and is incorporated into the Terms of Service.

1. Purpose

Mapifyer provides tools for managing Google Business Profiles, automating review responses, and analyzing local search performance. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines what constitutes acceptable and prohibited use of the platform to protect all users, third parties, and the integrity of the service.

2. Permitted Use

You may use Mapifyer to:

  • Manage Google Business Profiles on behalf of clients who have authorized you
  • Generate and publish AI-assisted review responses for businesses you represent
  • Track local search rankings and generate competitive intelligence reports
  • Export data for legitimate business reporting purposes
  • Manage team members and client accounts under your agency workspace

3. Prohibited Use

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account:

A. Review Manipulation

  • Generating, posting, or soliciting fake reviews
  • Incentivizing customers to leave reviews in exchange for rewards
  • Using Mapifyer to circumvent Google’s review policies
  • Suppressing or removing legitimate negative reviews through deceptive means

B. Unauthorized Access

  • Accessing Google Business Profiles you do not have authorization to manage
  • Sharing API credentials or account access with unauthorized parties
  • Attempting to access other users’ accounts or data

C. Platform Abuse

  • Automated scraping or data harvesting beyond normal platform use
  • Sending excessive API requests that degrade service for other users
  • Attempting to reverse engineer or decompile the platform
  • Introducing malicious code, viruses, or exploits

D. Illegal or Harmful Activity

  • Using the platform to violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Processing personal data without a lawful basis
  • Engaging in spam, phishing, or deceptive communications
  • Using AI features to generate defamatory, harassing, or illegal content

E. Resale and White-label Violations

  • Reselling access to Mapifyer without written permission (except on Agency OS plan)
  • Removing or obscuring Mapifyer attribution where required by your plan

4. Google API Compliance

Use of Mapifyer’s Google Business Profile integration must comply with:

  • Google API Services Terms of Service
  • Google Business Profile policies
  • Google review policies

Violations of Google’s policies may result in your Google account being suspended in addition to your Mapifyer account.

5. AI-Generated Content

You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing. Mapifyer’s AI features are tools to assist you — you must ensure all published content is accurate, compliant with applicable laws, and appropriate for your business context. Do not publish AI-generated content that is false, misleading, or violates any platform policy.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a violation of this policy, please report it to support@mapifyer.com. We take all reports seriously.

7. Enforcement

Mapifyer reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy
  • Remove content that violates this policy
  • Report illegal activity to relevant authorities
  • Take legal action where appropriate

We will generally attempt to contact users before taking action, except where the violation is severe or ongoing.

8. Updates

This policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of Mapifyer after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
